Interesting Joint Problems.

Temporomandibular joint dysfunction

Your jaw is one of the most important joints in your body, and also one of the most complicated ones. The jaw can move up and down, and back and forward. Several muscles tether your jaw to your skull on both sides of your head and control the motions of chewing, talking, and yawning. And the small disc that cushions the bones, the " temporomandibular" joint. This joint acts as a shock absorber, and when something goes out of whack, this could lead to a "temporomandibular disorder". Some symptoms of that are a clicking noise in the jaw when chewing. I chose this topic because my friend Nicole has the same problem

What were you surprised by? I am most surprised  by how the colon is not as bloody as I thought it was going to be.
What was the most amazing part? The most amazing part was how he was able to remove the all the cancer from the colon, without internally damaging the lower instestine.

Could you relate the parts they are working on (live) to the colouring sheet, diagrams, or notes that we took in class? After watching the video, the diagrams in class looks familiar to what the real thing looks like. Most things we learned in class looks almost identical.

What was the most interesting part?  The most interesting part was how he sewed the colon back together. Normally you would think that would be impossible being an internal organ.

What did you learn from this that you didn't know before?  What I learned from this is that colon cancer can be easily removed if caught before the cancer is spread too much throughout the colon.

Your ankle bone and the bottom of your two lower leg bones and that makes up your ankle joint. the ankle is actually made up of two joints: the subtalar joint and the true ankle joint.  The ligaments play a big role in your ankle and stabalize it and support the pressure from the rest of your body.
